Kolkata, Nov 8 (PTI) Elections to Darjeeling, Kurseong and Kalimpong municipalities and the Mirik Notified Area Authority in Darjeeling district will be held on December 11. A press note issued by the West Bengal State Election Commission said the last date for filing nominations is November 15 and scrutiny would take place the next day. November 18 is the last date for withdrawals and counting of votes will be taken up on December 13. The Model Code of Conduct takes effect from today in the areas where the elections would be held. It would continue till the end of the election process, the note said.
