Gorkha Janmukti Morcha and the Vikas Parishad formed a joint action committee

Tea garden wings of the Gorkha Janmukti Morcha and the Akhil Bharatiya Adivasi Vikas Parishad today formed a joint action committee to look into the welfare of workers in the plantations.

Leaders of the Morcha’s Darjeeling Dooars Terai Plantation Labour Union and the Parishad’s Progressive Tea Workers’ Union met at the Banarhat Dharamsala and set up the committee. John Barla will be the chairperson of the committee.
