Gorkhaland Task Force to plea North-East MPs and CMs for Gorkhaland

Darjeeling, January 29 The Gorkhaland Task Force has scripted new agendas for the month of February and March by hand. The co-coordinator of the Force R Moktan said that the Force will start their campaign from the north eastern part of India, meeting the Chief Ministers and the Member of Parliaments. “We don’t have to always rushed down to Kolkata but whenever the questions of Gorkhaland arises in the Parliament, the respected MPs from different states may voice for Gorkhaland, this is our main concern” said Moktan, under which the GTF will leave soon for the north-east.  Adding further he said that leaving Tripura, the Force will request all the other north-eastern states. The GTF will attend a seminar in Kolkata on March3, and will also meet with the former Speaker of the Lok Sabha PA Sangma on March 8. Likewise the GTA has also scheduled public meeting at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on March 12.Speaking on GJM’s taking part in elections in Uttarakhand, Moktan said that any political party can contest the election at any parts of India.  It is a political and constitutional right of any political party. “But the major concern for us is the statehood,  and the history may not repeat this time” concluded Moktan.
