Darjeeling, March 20, 2012 : HCL Learning, an education and talent development division of HCL Infosystems, India's premier ICT system integration, services, hardware and distribution company, has inaugurated HCL Learning Digischool solution at St. Paul's, Darjeeling, a leading residential school in the region. The Digischool solutions would be implemented in 24 classrooms which would go on to benefit over 750 students in the school. The announcement was made at a function hosted by the school and HCL where a demonstration of HCL's Digischool solutions were also showcased to the invited distinguished guests.
The Digischool solution for St. Paul's school is a state-of-the-art solution that is designed for Indian schools and Institutes and offers modern multimedia classrooms with world class content. Digischool is based on 'Touch, Innovate & Learn' that are well-interwoven in its content, infrastructure and services. The solution will consist of stylus based interactive white boards. Also Digischool's high quality interactive content complements existing CBSE, ICSE and State Boards curricula to enable a participative teacher led learning experience.

It will also meet the management requirements of the school.
HCL has so far successfully implemented Digischool solutions in more than 12 schools in the region. Some of the other places in the regions where Digischool solutions have been successfully installed are apart from Darjeeling are Kurseong, Sikkim, Siliguri and Kalimpong.
