Darjeeling (WB), Apr 27 (PTI) Six siblings, including two sisters, were charred to death after fire engulfed their house in a remote area along the Nepal border in West Bengal's Darjeeling district, police said today. The incident took place late last night at a small settlement close to Mirik, 49 km from here, when the hut caught fire from a lantern. The children, aged between two and 12 years, were alone in the house when the incident took place. Officials said rescue team could not reach the place on time due to its remoteness. District administration officials reached the spot in the afternoon today.
