Soil Conservation center to be upgraded at 9th Mile, Kalimpong

Mukesh Sharma: The GTA Sabhasad Kazim Tshering Bhutia today inspected the Soil Conservation and Soil Testing center situated at 9th Mile, Kalimpong. He also met with the officer of the center, KK Mangrati and took stock in detail. The condition of the center is appalling which has been not looked upon during the DGHC rule and it is deterioting day by day. The center lacks the basic facilities and tools of soil conservation and preservation which has cropped up problems. The farmers on the other hand have been facing lots of problems as they lack knowledge in connection with the soil and its ability for production.Sabhasad Kazim Tshering Bhutia said that each and every facility will be made available in the center. The condition of the center will also be upgraded assured Bhutia.
