Rai community not to celebrate Dusshera this year too

Kalimpong,Mukesh Sharma: Under the Kirati Khambu Rai Cultural Committee, Gorbuthan branch, a meeeting was held under the presidentship of N D Rai.

The gathering was edified about the Rai community who since ages are the worshippers of nature. It was declared during the meet that the Rai community will not be celebrating Dusshera this year too . However, the community shall be celebrating Maghe Sakranti and Sakewa the sub divisional secretary Arun Prakash Rai informed 

The Organization also appealed the gathering to follow and celebrate the age old festivals of the Rai.
