Pradip Lohagun: The Kalimpong unit of the Gorkha
Janmukti Morcha’s student wing today conducted a silent rally in town to
protest the surge in insecurity for students. The protestors demanded
the immediate withdrawal of the RAF and CRPF from the hills.
The Vidyarthi Morcha rally saw the
participation of students from several schools and colleges of town
holding placards demanding immediate withdrawal of the paramilitary
forces. It rally ended at the SDO office premises after circumambulating
the main areas of town. The students also submitted deputations to SDO K
