TMC MPs from Bengal to raise Sikkim’s issues in Parliament

Sikkim Pradesh Trinamool Congress president PT Lucksom today revealed 42 MPs from West Bengal will be raising the issues of Sikkim in Parliament.
Addressing a press conference, he said, “We met All India Trinamool Congress president Mamata Banerjee and general secretary Mukul Roy recently in Darjeeling. They have assured us MPs from West Bengal will raise the issues of Sikkim in Parliament.”
He added the MPs are expected to raise their voice for the restoration of Nepali seats in the Sikkim Legislative Assembly.
Lucksom further informed the TMC has started campaigning all over Sikkim. He said the Sikkim TMC wing will meet the governor after Diwali and this will be followed by public meetings all over the state. Lucksom also hinted on the possibility of Sikkim TMC leaders meeting Mamta Bannerjee in future.
He went on to state chief minister Pawan Chamling should stop the practice of distributing money from his official residence, Mintogang and instead do so from a public space like the Palzor Stadium. (EOIC)
