Acting
on the directive of GNLF supremo Subash Ghishing, the party’s Soureni
unit today conducted a meeting and formed an organising committee for
the Sansari Mai puja scheduled to be held on May 9. The committee will
have PS Rana as the president, Narendra Rai as secretary and Bina
Pradhan as the treasurer along with 19 other executive members.
Meanwhile, the party also formed the
Soureni unit of its women wing Gorkha National Women Organisation during
the meeting, with Nanda Kumari Newar as president, Brahaspati Newar as
vice president, Rashna Rai as chief secretary, Gauri Gazmer and Deepa
Newar as assistant secretary and Prem Kumari Newar as the treasurer
along with a number of working members. Similarly, new GNWO wings were
also established in GNLF’s Nol Dara and Palangbari units. (EOIC)
