Newly elected MLAs to take oath during May 23-26

Kolkata, May 21 : West Bengal Parliamentary Affairs Minister Partha Chatterjee today said the newly elected MLAs of the state Assembly would take oath from May 23 to 26.
Talking to mediapersons, Mr Chatterjee, also the  Commerce and Industries Minister, said all the ministers would take oath on May 23.Besides the ministers, MLAs from Darjeeling, Cooch Behar, Jalpaiguri, North Dinajpur, South Dinajpur, Malda, Murshidabad and Nadia would be administered affirmation on the same day, Mr Chatterjee said.
He said MLAs from East Midnapore, West Midnapore, Purulia, Bankura, Burdwan and Birbhum would take oath on May 24.

Mr Chatterjee informed that MLAs from North 24-Parganas, South 24-Parganas, Kolkata, Howrah and Hooghly would take oath on May 25.

On May 26, he said, the MLAs, who would not be able to make it during the above mentioned three days, would take oath
