Our Correspondent| Kalimpong, August: 09:30 students along with
4 teachers from Youth with a Mission, South Korea enthralled the gathering with
their colourful cultural performance during the Sadbhavna Mission programme
organized at the Scottish Universities Mission Institution (SUMI) today. The
performance was to spread awareness about the ill effects of drinking, drug
abuse, smoking etc. and was also to present a glimpse of the Korean culture.
Through their performance they directed the gathering to leave aside all the
bad habits and move towards the good path and to praise the lord.
Bong, one of the
members of the mission who resides in Kalimpong informed that most of the
performers are School students who have come from Korea and they have been
brought to Kalimpong under the guidance of their teacher, Gichang. One of the
motive for conducting such performance is to portray the culture of different
countries and let the students know about it.
