Madan Tamang murder accused found dead on WB-Sikkim border

One of the persons named in the CID charge sheet in the Madan Tamang murder case was murdered on Wednesday evening in his locality Singla, on the West Bengal-Sikkim border.

Dil Kumar Rai in his later 30s was found murdered at around 6:30pm in Singla.

"A police team has recovered the
body and brought it to the Darjeeling Sadar Police Station. He was murdered with a sharp weapon. The person was wanted in several cases. A warrant had been issued against him in the Madan Tamang murder case and he was absconding" stated Kunal Agarwal, additional superintendent of Police, Darjeeling.
