Think- Day Lake (Yangang Pokhari) | its Preservation and Conservation meeting

Yangang Bazar.Bikash Basnet: Naya Nirman Samaj (NNS) , Yangang organizes  meeting of  all NGO’s and welfare organizations  who are active in around Yangang   for the general  discussion on issue related to the Preservation and Conservation of Think- Day Lake (Yangang Pokhari) on 29th of Jan at Yangang Bazaar. As the lake is polluted and destructed its property due to lack of supervision and care by none of authority as well as any individuals, hence result   is that at present lake is losing its position and its beauties. The meet was attended by the officials of different non government organizations, members of NNS, local community, different co-operative organizations, religious organizations and Panchyat personals from in around Yangang . Meeting was started with the introductory speech by K.B.Gurung and accordingly President of NNS Gajbir Subba highlighted the present situation of lake. In general discussion meet has decided to approach concern government departments  to get into immediate action for preservation and conservation of Lake.  Officials from different organizations also jointly decided to raise some funds for immediate preservation in order to retain beauties of lake. Further  some of  people in meet also suggested to install verities of  fishes , swans  and tortoise into the lake with support of all , such suggestion was taken positively and steps will be  taken as foreword.  Likewise Panchyat personals who were at meet   discloses to carry forward the issue to the area MLA and other government organizations. Accordingly vice president of NNS Sumitra Gurung appealed  to extend helping hands from all  sections of society.NNS Initiative for cause was highly appreciated by masses attended  the meet and all agreed to step forward to  support cause from all necessary side. Meet also appreciated the government steps on  rapid development  of  Yangang  by introducing  the projects  like Yangang Cultural Park, Lepcha Heritage Centre , Ropeway cum sky walk at Bhalaydhunga  etc . Further meet voiced all section of society to be strongly unified and aware for uplifting such projects.  Meet was conducted by by  Bikash Basnet  and accordingly thanks note  was given by general secretary of NNS K.L.Timsina with his note of strong support and positive action for cause from all organizations  working in around Yangang division.
