BGP Sarwoccha Niti Nidharan Committee meeting held

Mukesh Sharma: A meeting of the Bharatiya Gorkha Parisangh (BGP) Sarwoccha Niti Nidharan Committee was held on August 26, 2012 at Sarita Vihar, New Delhi under the presidentship of its President, Dil Kumari Bhandari. Many decisions were made during the 6hour meeting  such as, funds for the 3rdyearly mass convention to be held at Siliguri on 17, 18 and 19 December 2012,  scheme, resolution etc. The meeting also discussed about the Committee’s future programmes, to include all the members of the Branch Committee and the supporting organizations under the main Committee, to felicitate and provide Id cards to the life time members and the patrons of the Committee during the mass convention, memento to be presented during the Gorkha Gaurav Diwas, communal harmony, language recognition, birth anniversary celebrations of martyr Durga Malla, postal stamp of Ram Singh Thakuri, to manage necessary items for conferring Padma Bhushan award to Indra Bdr Rai etc. President Bhandari in her address said that BGP is a national social body recognized by the President, Prime Minister, Home Minister and the whole of the country.  She urged the youths to come forward in carrying forward the social aims and objectives of the BGP.Rev Dr Anos Das Pradhan, Sukhman Moktan, Munish Tamang, Bhupendra Adhikari, Joel Rai, R Moktan etc. were also present during the meet.
