Kalimpong, August 9: The CPIM leader Tara Sundas has criticized the weak publicity
and advertisement of the recent 134 vacancies of the village police under
Kalimpong sub division. Very less candidates can file their candidature and
many remained unaware of the notice said Sundas and added that the GTA election
counting was also the result for the weak publicity. The applicants today
returned heart-broken as their forms were not accepted said Sundas for which he
called Darjeeling SP to prolong the date of submission till Monday which the SO
has accepted.
He also expressed his dissatisfaction on the numbers of post
in Kalimpong which is 42 where there are more than 42000 unemployed.
“We want the life of the unemployed to be secured” said
Sundas. The responsible persons have to understand and should work to solve the
issue in the Hills apart from their vested interest.
Slamming the Trinamool Government Sundas said that when class
8 pass can be recruited in police in Jagmahal why class 10 in Hills. He also compared
and constrasted on the categorization of the vacancies of 15, 000 in Jagmahal
to that of 134 in the Hills.
