Sugar rate lowered to Rs 26 per kg

Kalimpong/Mukesh Sharma: Keeping in mind the ever increasing prices of the basic commodities, the Food & Civil Supplies Department has decided to distribute sugar at Rs 26/- per kg within this week, however, only a kg of sugar will be disbursed per family.Speaking on this regard the Food Inspector, Dhurba Bareily notified that the APL card holders will be getting 1600gms of rice, 700gms of wheat and 1kg flour per head, while the BPL card holders will be receiving 1500gms of rice, 250gms of wheat and 815gms of flour per head. In the other hand, the AAY card holder will be getting 4kg rice and 2kg wheat and the APS card holders will be getting 20kg rice for free during the next week.
