KURSEONG, 7 NOV: Besides flowers and diyas, party flags will also be
put up to beautify the town during Diwali, courtesy the Bhai Tika, the
GJMM's youth wing.
GJMM Kurseong Youth Wing President Premendra
Gurung said: "Since the formation of our party, we have been working for
peace and to create a happy environment by making the people happy.
Since the festivity is round the corner, we are brightening up the town
by putting up colourful bulbs, and also tying chains of our party flags
across the town to create a beautiful atmosphere that will generate
peace, happiness and the well-being of our fellow people."
He
added: "Everyone knows that since the formation of our party, we have
been organising a month-long cultural programme at different places in
the Hills during the festive season to enhance it and to bring in the
hearts and minds of the people a sense of peace and happiness.
"Hence,
in this happy and peaceful environment that our party has created for
the people, if anyone tries to disrupt this peace to bring in unrest
then we, the GJMM youths, will show them what the actual unrest is all
about," he warned.
