Gorkha Rastriya Congress (GRC) for Darjeeling-Sikkim merger

In one hand the Darjeeling- Sikkim merger has become a political buzz in the hills, while in the other, the Gorkha Rastriya Congress (GRC), the party which raised the merger issue, conducted postering at various places of Kalimpong today.
“Darjeeling is the integral part of Sikkim and was never a part of Bengal. Permanent solution of this place is the unification of Sikkim and Darjeeling”, states a poster. “We want separation from Bengal”, demands another.
