NBSTC bus torched at kalimpong 5 arrested

Kalimpong,Mukesh Sharma: Police today arrested 5 persons on charges of torching NBSTC a state owned bus at Motor Stand last night in protest against the alleged molestation attempt incident of Darjeeling.The five men, Kushang Tamang, David Lepcha, Kiran Das, Kumar Sarki and Chandra Bahadur Gurung were picked up during a late night raid conduct- ed by the police. They have been booked under IPC Section 435/ 34 Section 3 of PDPP Act and produced at the Kalimpong Court and later taken into 14- days judicial remand.
