Kalimpong journalist Raju Bhandari felicitated in Arunachal

Appreciating Kalimpong-based journalist Raju Bhandari for his noteworthy contribution to the field of journalism, Arunachal Pradesh-based organisation All Arunachal Scheduled Tribes felicitated him today during a cultural function. Bhandari was presented with a memento by that state’s Scheduled Tribes minister Bassi Ram Bassi during the All Arunachal Scheduled Tribes Festival. Bhandari was spotted dressed in traditional Arunachal attire to accept the honour.

Bhandari is working with some electronic media houses in Assam and West Bengal. He is also the Kalimpong correspondent of news channel NDTV. The Arunachal organisation honoured Bhandari for achieving a significant position in the Indian media at a young age.

Some artistes from Kalimpong also showcased musical performances during the five-day festival.(EOI)
