The Hybrid Crew Dance Institution based
in Kurseong have come forward by hosting different street shows at
different places in the hills appealing votes in favor of Anushka Chettri, the final five contestant of popular reality show DID Little
Champs 2014.
Following the same trend, yesterday, the
members of the institution staged different dances at Kurseong Motar
stand, appealing for votes in favor of Anushka Chettri.
Vivek Chettri, a choreographer of the
institution, said to reach the grand finale of the reality show is a
huge achievement by Anushka. “She is like our little sister and hence we
will vote for her as well as appeal to all to do the same. Darjeeling
Hills has showcased that it is a basket of talents as many participants
from here have achieved phenomenally in reality shows, be it dancing,
music or singing,” he empasised.
Chettri also said he and the members of
his institute are appealing for votes for Anushka because they too are
related to dance and would like to see her become the winner. “Not only
this but supporting her will also inspire many of our students and
others to not only practice dancing but perform,” he added. The street
performances by the institution will continue in the hills till June 21,
the grand finale day. Chettri urged the people to vote for Anushka by
giving a simple miss call at “180083336003”.
