Indian Idol Junior contestant Apurba Tamang bats for DID champ Anushka

After Prashant Tamang phenomenon, the Anushka Sharma fever has now gripped the hill. Anushka is among the top five dancers in the ‘Dance India Dance (DID) - Little master’ competition being telecasted by Zee TV. Indian Idol Junior contestant Apurba Tamang of Mirik in his own way appealed to the hill people to cast their vote in favour of Anushka and make her the winner. Apurba today performed for more than an hour in Chourasta, Darjeeling to appeal the people to vote for Anushka.
Apurba is confident about the creative power of Gorkha people, who are best known for their artistic prowess. He holds the opinion that Gorkha people are full of talents have created numerous examples in art and culture. “It is the responsibility of hill people to help Anushka to reach to the class of National level talent pool,” she urged.(EOIC)
