Meritorious students felicitates in Kalimpong by Homes Biswakarma Samaj

The Homes Biswakarma Samaj today felicitated meritorious students of this year’s Madhyamik, Uchatar Madhyamik, CBSE, ICSE and ISC students at a function organised at Dr. Grams Homes Auditorium in Kalimpong. GTA’s education department director KK Lohar was the chief guest for the function, which was also attended by Cooch Behar District Court’s junior division judge Amir Lohar and Dr. Grams Homes principle SL Banerjee.
The Homes Biswakarma Samaj has been conducting the programme since past many years to encourage education among the students of Kalimpong. The meritorious students were awarded certificates and mementos by the chief guest for their performance in the recently held secondary and senior secondary board examinations.
The samaj also felicitated Amir Lohar from Teesta for becoming a judge at a young age. The guest encouraged the students to pursue further studies and help the development of the community in the future. They also urged the students to prepare themselves and attempt competitive examinations to create more opportunities. The programme was also marked by cultural performances by the members of Homes Biswakarma Samaj.(EOIC)
