Tata Sky has launched its popular application Everywhere TV on personal computers (laptops and desktops).
Accessible to all Tata Sky subscribers, the Everywhere TV service is so far was available only on smartphones and tablets (ioS and Android devices).
This comes along with the announcement that Tata Sky subscribers will also be able to watch FIFA World Cup 2014 live and exclusive on Sony Six as part of its Everywhere TV service, at no additional cost.
With ever changing lifestyle and viewing preferences of subscribers, Tata Sky has gauged the need to extend the ‘television viewing’ experience beyond living rooms to multiple viewing devices.
Commenting on this introduction, Mr Vikram Mehra, Chief Commercial Officer at Tata Sky, said: “The success of Everywhere TV on phones and tablets encouraged us to now take the service to PCs and laptops. The service launch has been timed just before
the football World Cup to ensure that home laptop doubles up as a second televison, thus allowing youngsters to watch late night football matches on their laptops without disturbing their family." sns
