Mukesh Sharma: TMC block level , sub divisional level and block level committees which was abolished after the election is now on the path of formation. After Bhupendra Lepcha was chosen at the post of youth president now the District leader of the party is rounding different place to form block level and sub divisional level committees.A meeting of Party district leader was held at Pedong community hall to discuss about the formation of Block 2 committees of the Party. After massive discussion with local leader C.K.Rai was chosen to the post of President, while N.K Dukpa and Bharat Rai to the post of Secretary.A similar meeting of the party was held at Shyama Devi Smriti Bhawan in the evening where Block one committee was formed. Tshering Sherpa was chosen as president whereas Nirmal Khati as secretary. . District Trinamool president Rajen Sherpa, the working president Shanta Chhetri, spokesperson Binny Sharma, secretary NB Khawas along with the TMC leader of kalimpong was present at the formation of committees. After the meeting spokesperson Binny Sharma informed that A nine member town committees has been formed with Tashi Tshering lepcha as the Convener. Adding he said that the committees will be working for two month in which they will form the Ward Comity.After two month a full fledged town committee will be functioning.
