Vehicle accident at Lower Hiddi Dara Devalaya in Teesta valley, 4 dead

Four persons are reported to have died and three others seriously injured after their vehicle veered off the road down a 300ft gorge Wednesday night. The injured are being treated at a nursing home at Siliguri, said sources.
They said the accident occurred at Lower Hiddi Dara Devalaya in Teesta valley under Rangli-Rangliat when the vehicle occupants were returning home to the Upper Kamjer area from a joy ride. The bodies of the deceased have been handed over to their respective families after conducting post mortem in Darjeeling. (HindSam)
