7 yrs old girl raped by security guard in Jorethang Sikkim

Amir Rai (24), a resident of Thekabong Parakha in East Sikkim, was today arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a seven-year old girl. Rai works as a security guard with Dans Energy Company Pvt. Ltd, which is engaged in a project at Chisopani, South Sikkim. He was staying as a tenant at the victim's house. The Jorethang police have filed a case against the accused under Section 376 of the IPC r/w Section 8 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012.(EOIC)
