GNLF new party office in Panighatta Bazaar inaugurated

The Soureni-Panighatta unit of the Gorkha National Liberation Front (GNLF) today inaugurated a new party office in Panighatta Bazaar. The office was inaugurated by GNLF Soureni-Panighatta unit convener Pradip Chettri in the presence of party leader Jitman Tamang, Prashad Bhatt and Raj Kumar Moktan among others.

Tamang in his address said the party supporters from the Terai region will have a place to organize party meetings and other activities in the new office. He further informed the party will soon start conducting door-to-door campaign across the town and villages in the region to improve the party’s support base. “The party’s workers’ union HPWU will soon hold a massive public meeting here in Panighatta,” Tamang added.

Pradip Chettri in his address stressed on the importance of the implementation of the Sixth Schedule in the Hills. “The Sixth Schedule will not only improve the developmental activities in the Hills, it will also pave way for the formation of Gorkhaland,” Chettri claimed. He also accused the GJM of taking support of the Sixth Schedule in its campaign for the separate state. “The GJM can never fulfill the dream of the people and can never form Gorkhaland,” he added.(EOIC)
