Singer Zubeen Garg rocks Siliguri City Centre
Siliguri gave Zubeen Garg a warm welcome on Saturday.  The 42 year-old singer took Siliguri by storm and performed to over 20,000 screaming fans in the heart of City Centre on Red FM’s ‘Red Live with Zubeen Garg’.
Garg is a singer, music director, composer, songwriter and actor hailing from Jorhat, Assam. He has acquired the stature of a cult figure in Assam and eastern India over the past two decades as an indigenous rock star. He is the voice behind superhit Bollywood songs like ‘Dil tu hi bata’, ‘Rama Re’, ‘Ishq Samandar’, ‘Ya Ali’, and not to forget ‘Jaane Kya’ from Pyaar ke side effects.
The event which started at 6:30 pm saw packed arena with enthusiastic fans screaming for encore, and hooting hysterically over every songs Zubeen sang. The rockstar made sure to thank his Siliguri fans officially at the online mini-blog site twitter saying, “Yesterday night show @City Centre, Siliguri! Amazing Crowd. Thank u for all your love!@zubeengarg1.” HS
