The second phase of audition for East District to Sikkim’s Got Talent,
the talent hunt show organised by Blue Pigeon concluded in the state
capital on Sunday at the conference hall of the Tourism and Civil
Aviation Department. The closing day saw a turnout of 500 participants
from different corners of the district. The two-day audition witnessed
fine displays of dancing, singing, acting and instrument playing making
it the most competitive round. Of the 500 contestants, 34 have been
shortlisted for the Grand Audition. From a total of 96 contestants from
across the state, 17 are from West District, 11 from the North and 34
each are from South and East. The jury comprised Dharma Bhusan Gazmer,
Marcus Rai, Manoj Rai and Komal Gurung. The Grand Audition will be held
here at Mannan Kendra on October 11, informed the competition’s press
and media secretary, Arpan Pradhan. (EOIC)
