Tourism minister Gautam Deb said today that chief minister
Mamata Banerjee would be in Kalimpong for three days from September 20
and attend a programme to be hosted by the Lepcha development board.
Deb said Mamata would reach Siliguri on September 20 and head for
Kalimpong. "The next day, she will attend a public event to be organised
by the Lepcha Development Board in Kalimpong. During her stay, she will
also inaugurate a number of tourism projects and is likely to leave for
Calcutta on September 23."(TT)
