St. Joseph's School, Mungpoo, celebrated the Teachers day yesterday i.e, 5th
of September 2011.The programme was started with the lightening of Diya in
the memory of Sri, S. Radhakrishnan by the Principal Rev father John
Banerjee  followed by Khada and Tilak. The programme was perfectly organised
by Class VIII students. The programme were dance, group songs and solo
songs. Sewangi Mukhia, student of class VIII presented a short speech
regarding S. Radhakrishnan. The students effortlessly showed their love and
respect for the Teachers. Their token of love was worthy enough as a gift
for the Teachers.Tapping and clapping of the Teachers proved that their hard
work was not in vain. Last but not the least, the programme ended with the
speech of thanks and love from the Principal Rev father John Banerjee.
