Educated unemployed cooperative society mamring organised aids awareness programme

Rangpo/5Dec/Sanjay Agarwal - Two days long aids awareness programme organised by educated unemployed cooperative society mamring south Sikkim in support with Sikkim aids control society was ended yesterday. in the closing day Mrs. tilu gurung area mla cum minister  was present as a chief guest while dr d p kharel ex minister, block officer forest department Mr. b k dahal ,alkem limited  human resources head  mr ramaakant rai ,Mr. t p kharel ,sanjeet kharel ,area Panchayat Mrs. asha kharel was present as a special guesst of the programme . Colourful cultural programmes. Sing produced by gopal and bhim gandharva and interaction by the resources persons was the main attraction of the programmes. between the special presence of headmaster of maamring junior high school teachers ,students ,guardians  of the school ,local residents  the marathon race and rope pushing competition was organisid.in senior level of marathon mr  kamal Chettri ,prem dorjee bhutia and puran rai,in senior citizen laxman dulal ,rupesh rai and  dev prakash Chettri and in girls manita subba , bindhya pradhan and punam khawas  was stood first ,second and third in the competition. the trophies for senior category of marathon was sponsored by Mr. sanjeet kharel in the memory of late a c kharel.roshan kharel in the memory of late b m kharel, and bikash kharel in the memory of late b p khaarel.at the end of the programme the trophies and cash prize was awarded to all the winners and runners of the programme by the hand of Mrs. tilu gurung area mla cum minister who was present as a chief guest of the day long function.
