Darjeeling, May 1 (PTI) The government would pay an ex-gratia compensation to the family members of the six children who died in a fire recently in Mirik, official sources said today. Sub-Divisional Officer (Kurseong) Ranjan Kumar Jha said the parents of the six children would get an ex-gratia compensation. The six children were charred to death at a fire in Mirik on April 26. Meanwhile, the police sources said investigations were going into the fire incident in which the six children were charred to death.
