Share Football Club Kalimpong aims in making its boys excellent footballers

Kalimpong.Mukesh Sharma: The Share Football Club Secretary, Dipen Rai during a press meet today mentioned that the main aim of this Club is to train the local football talents and to further make excellent professional footballers. Boys of 6- 7 years are being trained and the Club also aims in making them enter the I League. Further, saying that they got
motivated by the neighbouring States whose clubs have now started to play in the I League, Rai exclaimed, “if their boys can, then why can’t ours”! “All we need to do is to work together”, he asserted. Rai also declared that the Club will definitely reach the 2nd round of the Sukna Gold Cup. Adding further the Secretary said that right now the club consists of 18 able players in which many boys have been selected from remote areas of Kalimpong. They will be associated with the club for the next 3 years on a contractual basis. He also notified that the players will be revealed on May 06, 2012 at Royal Club. Also for the first time from Darjeeling District a football magazine will be launched along with the launching of the Club’s official song/ anthem under the CD named Josh.
