Balidan Diwas organised by the Bharatiya Gorkha Parisangh in Delhi

1. delhi balidan diwas2: The black granite stone bears the name of Shaheed Major Durga Malla and marks the spot where he was hanged by the British in 1944. This monument was built on the spot of the gallows in the Delhi Jail where freedom fighters were hanged. Today, the spot is called Shaheed Udhyan and is located within the Maulana Azad Medical College premises. 

2. delhi balidan diwas: Bharatiya Gorkha Parisangh Working President and Gorkhaland Task Force Chairman Rev Dr Enos Das Pradhan offering floral tributes at the memorial built to mark the spot where Shaheed Major Durga Malla was hanged by the British on August 25, 1944.
