Tibetans Women Association (TWA) observes 28th foundation

Mukesh Sharma: The Tibetans Women Association (TWA) today observed its 28thfoundation day at the Manelakhey Gumpa in Kalimpong. On the occasion, the Association lighted lamps and offered prayers remembering those 51 Tibetans who had sacrificed their life protesting the Chinese aggression in Tibet. The Association also distributed pamphlets in the town exposing the merciless Chinese authority in Tibet and asking for peoples support.  Sonam Chuki, a member of the Association said that 31 innocent Tibetans sacrificed their lives during last month. She appealed the people to support the Tibetans fin their genuine cause stopping more innocent lives getting sacrificed.
