Due to the irresponsibility of Kalimpong Post Office Youth loses job opportunity

Due to the irresponsibility of Kalimpong Post Office, Kamal Rai, resident of Kamsi Forest Busty, could not appear for the written examination of Kolkata Police conducted on Sunday at Darjeeling. Rai after getting through the Physical Test in the month of May had qualified for the written examination.
Rai received his admit card for the written exam at 5 pm on Sunday. The exam was conducted the same day at 12 noon. Due to the delay, Rai was unable to appear for the same.
The youth being the President of the Yuva Morcha Town Committee of the Communist Party of Revolutionary Marxist (CPRM) submitted a written complaint on behalf of the CPRM regarding the issue to the Postmaster, Paras Thapa of the Kalimpong Post Head Office.

Rai, complained that despite of the address mentioned on the admit card envelope, the Postman, Susan Lepcha had left it at a shop nearby Rai’s house. By the time the envelope was handed over to Rai, the exam was over.
The CPRM leaders also alleged that due to such irresponsibility of the Post Office many other youths like Rai miss the opportunity to appear for employment exams/ interviews. The CPRM has further demanded strong actions against the Postman after the matter is properly looked upon.
The Postmaster, Paras Thapa reciprocating to the complaints has assured to look into the matter and take appropriate actions against the Postman.
