NHPC provides Free BCA - Spoken English training for deprived students

As a part of NHPC Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Policy, Teesta Low Dam Project, Stage-III, Rambi has taken up the initiative of providing month long Training in Basic Computer Application and Spoken English, free of cost to underprivileged students of Government School of Mungpoo Division. For the 1st phase of the initiative, two training centers were inaugurated today at Sarada High School and Rungbee Gyanpith High School, both at Mungpoo.The programme was inaugurated in the presence of Sub-Inspector of School, Mungpoo Division, Principal, teachers, students of Sarada High School and Rungbee Gyanpith High School and CSR Division of TLDP-III.Both the training centers shall run simultaneously for a month starting from today to 13th January, 2013. More than 45 students from Class V to Class X of both the schools shall benefit by the training, as they will get the opportunity to have both practical and theoretical exposure on Basic Computer Application.Text copies, pens and study materials were distributed among the students free of cost by TLDP-III.The course is conducted in association with North Bengal Art Academy, an NGO having expertise in providing such skill enhancement training. The entire cost of organizing the training programme is borne by NHPC Ltd., TLDP-III. Certificates will be provided by North Bengal Art Academy to the students on successful completion of the course.
