One day sensitization programme on Self Help Group/
Joint Liability Group/ Financial Inclusion for Uttar Banga Kshetriya
Gramin Bank officials was organized by NABARD on 23.10.13 at UBKGB
Regional Office , Rishi Aurobinda Road, Hakimpara, Siliguri. 40 UBKGB
officials attended the programme. District Development Manager, NABARD,
Lead District Manager , Darjeeling District, Project Director, District
Rural Development Cell, Siliguri region and Regional Manager, UBKGB,
Siliguri were present on the occasion and they guided the participants
on National Rural Livelihood Mission, Self Help Group, Joint Liability
Group, Financial Inclusion concept which will ultimately lead to increase
in credit flow in the district.
