North Bengal University(NBU) Or the University of North Bengal invites applications for the following Various  govt. job vacancies of Assistant Professor,Research Associate,Professional Assistant,Research Assistant,Data Entry Operator,Library Assistant .

Job details:

1) Assistant Professor : 2 posts

Qualifications: i) Qualified UGC NET / SLET / SET.ii) Ph.D degree in relevant subject.iii) Publication of Book(s) with ISSN & / or Articles / Research papers in Peer Reviewed referred journals with ISSN.

2) Research Associate: 2 posts

Qualifications: Adequate knowledge in computer operating including handling of MS Office.

3) Professional Assistant: 2 posts

Educational Requirements: i) M.com knowledge of accountancyii) M.A. / M.Sc in Statistics / Computer Application / Information Technology / Operation Research / Geoinformatics / Surverying.

4) Research Assistant: 2 posts

Educational Requirements: i) Master’s degree in Sociology / Anthropology /Women Studies / Gender Studies / Political Science / Law / History / Philosophy / Economics / Geography.ii) At least a three years bachelors degree in the relevant / allied subjects.iii) Experience in field work & knowledge of Statistics in the Analysis of Data.iv) Adequate knowledge in computer operating including handling of MS Office. 

5) Data Entry Operator: 1 posts

Educational Requirements: i) Graduate ii) Typing speed of minimum 40 w.p.m. iii) Well conversant in computer working in MS Office.iv) Knowledge of Data Entry in the software packages.v) Good command over English Language.

6) Library Assistant: 1 posts

Educational Requirements: i) Graduate ii) At least one year experience in handling library of any educational institution.

The filled in downloaded application must be accompanied by Crossed Bank Draft of Rs. 200/- payable in favour of “University of North Bengal” at State Bank of India, NBU Campus Branch, (Code: 2096) Siliguri. Filled-in application forms (1 set) along with two self addressed unstamped envelope (25x13cm) and one copy of the recent passport size photograph (identical with the same pasted in the form) and other documents regarding citizenship (by registration), age, qualification and experience duly attested by the candidate may be submitted in the Office of the Registrar, University of North Bengal in person or by post on or before 28th November, 2013 till 04.00 P.M.
