Kalimpong Poet Tika Bhai to attend Sahitya Academy’s Youth Festival

Pradip Lohagun: Kalimpong based emergent poet Tika Bhai will be participating in the Youth Festival of Sahitya Academy, Delhi, representing Nepali literature. The festival will be held on February 6 and 7 at Sangit Natya Academy in Rajasthan. Poet Tika Bhai has confirmed the reports of him being invited by the Sathiya Academy to the function, which will see a congregation of poets and literary figures from various languages.

Sahitya Academy Advisory committee member Prem Pradhan expressed happiness over the invitation and congratulated Tika Bhai for the achievement. It may be mentioned emerging poets Kamal Regmi, Manoj Bogati and Raja Punyani have represented Nepali literature at the youth festival on earlier occasions, and Tika Bhai is the fourth to be invited by the Sahitya Academy.
