2 Died 6 crtically injured when Hanging bridge collapsed at Mungpel Pabringtar in Kalimpong

Two people died and six crictically injured after a hanging bridge collapsed at Mungpel under Pabringtar Gram Panchayat of Kalimpong on Sunday afternoon. The incident happened when the villagers were repairing hanging bridge for the upcoming monsoon season. Suddenly One part of the bridge collapsed after which all went down about 100 ft after which AitaRaj Rai 23 died on the spot . The other were rescued by villagers where after they were rushed to Kalimpong Hospital where Tek Bahadur rai 52 died at hospital .
