Former MP & Congress leader from Darjeeling Dawa Narbula was critically injured

Siliguri, Sep 13: Congress leader and former MP from Darjeeling Dawa Narbula was critically injured when the four wheeler he was travelling in collided head-on with another vehicle on NH 55 at Methibari under Sukna police out post in Siliguri today.
Sources said the MP along with his adopted son and driver was on his way to Siliguri from Darjeeling when the accident took place.
All of them were seriously wounded in the mishap and admitted to a private nursing home at Pradhannagore here.
Police said a complain had been lodged by the MP's family at the police station concerned and added investigation in this respect was on.
