P.K. Pradhan Joins as Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Government of India

Shri P.K. Pradhan has assumed charge of office as Secretary, Health & Family Welfare, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. Shri Pradhan joins in the vacancy of Shri K. Chandramouli who retired as the last Secretary Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.

Shri Pradhan, an IAS Officer from the West Bengal Cadre 1977 batch was presently Special Secretary and Mission Director, National Rural Health Mission in Department of Health & Family Welfare. In his career spanning more than thirty four years, Shri Pradhan has previously handled various portfolios in urban sector both in State Government and Government of India. He has been looking after National Rural Health Mission since last two years. (PIB)
