Three students of Sikkim manipal institute of technology Majhitar swept by Tista River

RANGPO/SANJAY AGARWAL: Three students of Sikkim manipal institute of technology Majhitar total four students one from ATTC bardang   swept by Tista River in three month is a mystiyous and unfortunate issue for the university and Majhitar also. on 25th July from same place of tista river at Majhitar  two student one from SMIT named  miki dadul first year student from mangan and one ATTC student named  binod Prasad of Majhitar  was swept by the tista river  .the dead body of miki dadul was found near malli but till today binod Prasad is not traced. Again after three month three days same incident at same place occurred .two assamese student named kuntal kashyap (21) of jorhat Assam and   imanzal gohai (22) of guwahati along with other some student was at tista river playing with water of the river .suddenly the said two student swept away. The other students and local residents rescued immmmeadetly but it was too late for them and was dead.rangpo police registering the case send the deceased body to Singtam district hospital for post-mortem .today after post-mortem   the body was handed over to the families of the deceased student.upto tomorrow afternoon the body shall reach their hometown. In one side the state government is trying to make the state as a education hub and is working for round o clock but such type of incident may make the image of the SMIT along with state government negative because same incident occurred twice within just three month. On other side one suicide incident was ALSO OCCURED IN MAJHITAR on 27th july.one 11 year old child was come from Kolkata to Majhitar to celebrate tihar at his mama residence. On 27th July some dispute was occurred for simple belt. At about three pm when no one was at home the child hang him at cealing fan. The Rangpo police recovered the body and was sent to autopsy at Singtam hospital .after autopsy the body was handed over to the deceased family relativesand families has taken the body to Kolkata for funeral.
