Recruitment Details:
Name of the post: Assistant Engineer (Civil) vacancies at various departments
Age limit: Candidates should have an age below 32 years as on 01-01-2011
Educational qualifications: Candidates who passed degree in Civil Engineering of a recognised University. Candidates should have an ability to read, write and speak in Bengali. Candidates must have One year’s Post-Graduate practical training or study
Or research or practical engineering experience
Application Fee:
Candidates have to pay 210/- as application fee in the form of Indian Postal Order (I.P.O) to the Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal or by a receipted challan from a Govt Treasury in West Bengal or the Reserve Bank of India, Kolkata, payable at GPO, Kolkata. No fee for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
Selection procedure:
Candidates are selected on the basis of combined competitive Examination comprising Written Examination followed by an interview
