GJM leader demands transfer of pending depts to GTA

Darjeeling, Nov 9 (PTI) GJM leader H B Chetry today expressed unhappiness over non-completion of the transfer process of departments to the Gorkha Territorial Administration in Darjeeling hills, as decided in a joint agreement.

"Though 57 departments were agreed to be put under GTA administration by August this year, 36 are still to be transferred to GTA. The administration is also yet to receive the committed funding of Rs 200 crore," Chetry said.
