It has come to our attention that some individuals are impersonating as authorised signatories of NBARD and are duping the general public by issuing fixed deposits on behalf of NABARD. It is clarified that NABARD does not collect fixed diposits from general public, and has not appointed any agent for the purpose. NABARD appeals to the members of public not to respond to such self appointed people and not to enter into any financial transactions.
It is, therefore notified that NABARD shall not be responsible in any manner whatsoever for such transactions by the public with unauthorized persons in this regard.
